I got my hands on a few new helmets for the 2023-2024 season. First on the list will be the Anon Oslo.
This teaser was shot, edited and processed on my iPhone along with CapCut.

My first sponsored content!
This video took longer than I expected, with delays due to a creative block. I imposed a lot of pressure of "knock this out of the park" due to being comspensated. It wasn't until I remembered that I was urged to use my own voice - this changed the feel of the project to be a lot more personal rather than trying to sell a product.
The lighting concerns I mentioned while shooting e003 were rectified with multiple attempts at strategically placing 3 studio lights as well as adding accent lighting throughout the studio.
I upgraded my audio recording equipment by adding a RODE Wireless GO II microphone system with an attached lavalier mic. This allowed me to capture consistent audio levels while I moved around my studio. I did find that the RODE microphone can still pick up background noise.
I set my Sony Alpha 7C to shoot in landscape mode to accommodate a long-format in a 16:9 aspect to accommodate the full screen of a computer and/or television.
I relied a lot less on CapCut's AI editing functions and the supercut transitions seemed to be more cohesive and sounds more natural when just listening to the audio track of the presentation.
I also affixed color coded stage markings to aid in a more efficient shot continuity as well as a speedier shot set up.
Concerns for e004:
A continuation of my thoughts on how and why I ended up with the gear that I have and piecing together my quiver for the PNW.
Production notes:
Episode 1 was shot exclusively with an iPhone 14 Pro equipped with Shure's MV88 condenser microphone. Post-production edits were completed with the CapCut phone app.
Episode 2 was shot using a Sony Alpha 7C paired up with their ECM-B10 shotgun microphone. Post-production edits were completed with CapCut's desktop app.
Concerns for future videos in this office set up:
My first staged video.
An unscripted ramble on about boot comfort and giving a lot of credit to my favorite ski shop & crew! Also, I’m learning how to produce these videos in my home studio to prepare for other ventures.
Thanks for watching!
